If you were a member of Angie’s List you would see some of this information. But I guess I wanted to share with those who aren’t finding us there. Angie’s List has a page where they ask their members to comment on companies who have provided great service or “made them happy.” We have 12 reviews there. See how it is that Angie’s list requires we get there:
The Page of Happiness
How do companies get on the Page of Happiness?
When a member lets us know they’ve been absolutely wowed by an experience with a service company. When we hear about these great reviews, we give the member an opportunity to nominate the company for our monthly magazine’s “Page of Happiness.”
We keep an eye out for reviews that fit the special POH criteria whether they’re submitted on the web, over the phone or by mail:
- Work was actually performed
- The member would hire the company again
- The member gave the company “A’s” in every category
- The member provided enough detail and wrote at least 1,000 characters
At our website, a smiley face icon appears with the review summary on the provider’s page. Also, the honorary title “Page of Happiness Nominee” appears in green text above the review’s grades. The member’s recommendation then has a chance to appear in an edition of our monthly magazine.
When a POH review has been published, purple text above the review grades purple will say “Featured in the Page of Happiness.” It also mentions the month and year the review was published.
